  • How do LiveLOOK's Screen Sharing and Co Browsing solutions work?
    LiveLOOK utilizes a patented, browser-based technology that establishes a visual connection between parties over the Internet. LiveLOOK's products are an improvement upon first generation solutions commonly known as Screen Sharing and/or Co Browsing. An Online Visitor can show his or her screen to an Agent so that the Agent can see what the Online Visitor is seeing, help select products/services, and help the Online Visitor all the way to checkout.
  • What do I need in order to use LiveLOOK's Screen Sharing and Co Browsing products?
    To use LiveLOOK's screen sharing and co browsing products you will need a browser and java. Java is typically pre-installed on all computers. If your computer doesn't have java, please install it by clicking here.
  • How can I use LiveLOOK with my phone?
    Call the customer service number listed on a website that offers LiveLOOK's co browsing technology. Click the “Click to Show” button on the company's website and you will get a session number. Give the session number to the Agent who answers your call, and the Agent will be able to assist you.
  • Does LiveLOOK work on Mac?
    LiveLOOK's Screen Sharing and Co Browsing products work on all computers - Windows, Mac, and Linux.
  • Does LiveLOOK work with any browser?
    LiveLOOK's products work with all major browsers.
  • Can Agent see exactly what I am seeing?
    Agents can see an Online Visitor's screen exactly as Online Visitor is seeing it, with some exceptions. If the company utilizing LiveLOOK's co browsing technology has opted to implement security measures, an Agent may not be able to see any content on your screen except that which is located on the company's website. Additionally, certain fields may be masked from the Agent as a security measure, like credit card or social security numbers.
  • What can Agents do?
    Agents can see Online Visitor's screen and point with a pointer. Optionally full remote control can be enabled.
  • Is the Online Visitor in control?
    The Online Visitor is in control at all times, and can disconnect a screen sharing or co browsing session at any time by closing the browser window.
  • Can Agents change something on my computer?
    Agents can only view a screen and point the cursor, they cannot change anything on an Online Visitor's computer.
  • Can I use LiveLOOK's Screen Sharing and Co Browsing products with online chat?
